So far I haven't thought that any of the films that I have seen are garbage.
I have only seen The Black Swan, The Fighter, Inception, The Social Network, Toy Story 3, and the Town. All are worthy of the nominations that they received. More..
other than True Grit - garbage in garbage out. Holywood entertainment is ... well... challenged let's say.
True Grit and Inception were fantastic films, and I hope they both win awards.
