Keith LeRoy Corry 1929 ~ 2011

Our sweet husband, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather Keith LeRoy Corry passed away of natural causes on January 15, 2011 in Richfield, Utah. He was born on September 16, 1929 in Delta, Utah to George Andrew Heybourne and Helen Lucille Norby Corry. Keith was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Navy from 1948 - 1952 on the USS Princeton. Keith married Betty Lee Mecham June 27, 1953, the marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He retired from Utah Power & Light having worked in Delta and Richfield. Prior to joining Utah Power he worked the family farm in Sutherland. Keith was a member of the LDS church having held varied callings at various times in his life. The family extends a special thank you to Bishop Kendall Willardson, the Richfield 9th Ward, Dr. Mark R. Greenwood and the staff and management of the Richfield Care Center for the caring, support and service given to dad and the family during this time. He is survived by his devoted wife, Betty, children G. Keith (Carolyn) Corry of Pleasant Grove, Scott L. (Gabi) Corry of Kanosh and Richard L. Corry of Richfield. Keith adored and is survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Don Corry and Carl Corry both of Delta and a sister Marine Corry of El Cerrito, CA. He is preceded in death by one grandson Kasey Corry Cowley and his sisters Dorothy (Preston) Hubbs and Daryl Corry. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 west in Richfield. Where friends may call for viewing on Wednesday morning from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Interment will take place in the Richfield City Cemetery with military rites provided by the V.F.W. Sevier Post #5050.
