Jack Robert Clark, a gentle and loving man, passed away peacefully January 11, 2011 after enduring many years of health challenges. He was born July 31, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Ethel Ronneburg Jensen. Married Betty Brand May 12, 1955; sealed November 12, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church and loved serving many years as a ward and stake finance clerk and as a temple worker in the Jordan River Temple. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Retired from the USPS after 28 years. He was an industrious man and taught his sons how to work hard, and was a devoted son to his mother. Survived by wife, Betty; children: Mark (Sharie), Randy (Lee Ann), David (Donna) and Daniel (Michelle); 18 grandchildren; five great-grand-children. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings. The family would like to express a special thanks to Harmony Hospice, especially, Brenda, Lisa, Rudy and Fred for their kind and loving care of Jack. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 15, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at the Kearns 7th Ward, 5905 South 4000 West. Viewings will be held Friday, January 14, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the LDS Humanitarian or Missionary Fund.
