COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — BYU senior Jimmer Fredette has been named the Mountain West Conference men's basketball player of the week. This is the third weekly accolade of the season for Fredette and 10th of his career.
Fredette averaged 23.5 points, 5.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game while helping the Cougars to wins over Buffalo and Fresno Pacific last week.
In 37 minutes of play against Buffalo, the Glens Falls, N.Y., native scored a season-high 34 points, dished out six assists and grabbed one steal while draining four 3-pointers and going 8-of-10 from the free throw line. After tallying just six points in the first half and with BYU holding a narrow 39-37 at the break, Fredette exploded for 28 points in the second stanza to lead the Cougars to the 90-82 victory.
In Saturday's 93-57 decision over Fresno Pacific, he went 4-of-7 from the field, including 3-of-5 from behind the arc, and hit both of his free-throw attempts for a total of 13 points to go with five assists and one steal in 22 minutes of action. For the week, Fredette was 15-of-31 (.484) from the field, 7-of-17 from 3-point range and 10-of-12 (.833) at the free-throw line.

I'm sorry but your post was just odd.
We can't just enjoy the season and his outstanding play because we have to win the conf tourneyment and make it at least to the Elite 8 in the NCAA. Without that Jimmer is More..
@eastcoastcoug- Jimmer traditionally has his biggest and best games against better teams. Look at last year before making ridiculous comments. He had 37 in the 1st round last year against Florida, 21 against Kansas State. He has hit over 30, 3 times More..
@eastcoastcoug
I have to agree with The Spiker ... for a Coug fan, your posts are ALWAYS rather odd. You might be a former student of BYU, but you always give such weird comments for a "fan."
To quote you in another More..
