Summary

Acting with uncommon speed, Congress sent President Barack Obama sweeping, bipartisan legislation late Thursday night to avoid a Jan. 1 spike in income taxes for millions and renew jobless benefits for victims of the worst recession in 80 years.

Ok, so we keep the status quo. No tax increase, but a tax cut on your SSA withholding, but your employer has to keep paying the same percentage. I do agree with giving the unemployed additional weeks of ins pymts. But we have to listen to this same More..
