Reformed Church plans yule program
The choir of First Christian Reformed Church, 805 E. 900 South, will present its annual Christmas program as part of the morning worship service on Sunday, Dec. 12 at 10 a.m.
It will accompanied by piano, woodwinds and percussion. This will be a program of readings, carols and music by Lloyd Larson, Don Besig, Doug Wagner, and more. Refreshments will be served after the service and a nursery will be provided.

Handbell choir offers 2 Christmas concerts
The Wesley Bell Ringer Handbell choir will deliver two free concerts this month — one on Monday, Dec. 20, 7:30p.m.; and another on Thursday, Dec, 23, 7:30 p.m., both at Christ United Methodist Church, 2375 E. 3300 South.
The choir has received honors and awards from around the country for its mastery of handbell music. Each summer the Wesley Bell Ringers perform a national concert tour. Over the years they have performed in all 50 States and throughout Canada. The Choir is made up of talented young men and women of high school age and is directed by Mr. Terry Waite.

Lecture to focus on intellectual property
SALT LAKE CITY — ""Religion as Intellectual Property" will be addressed by the Rev. Tom Goldsmith at the Sunday services of First Unitarian Church of Salt Lake, 569 S. 1300 East, in services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Krishna temple soon to mark 10 years
SPANISH FORK — It has been almost 10 years since the Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple opened in Spanish Fork.
Since it opened on June 23, 2001, almost 400,000 tourists have visited it. It has hosted 80 major festivals and performed 300 "pujas" (housewarmings).
Radio Krishna broadcasts 24 hours a day over the Internet and the Krishna website, www.utahkrishnas.org, is accessed by some 500 visitors a day.
Affirmation to host yule celebration
A Christmas Celebration for Affirmation: Gay and Lesbian Mormons will be Sunday, Dec. 12, 6 p.m., at Holladay United Church of Christ, 2631 Murray Holladay Road (4800 South).
At the celebration donations will also be accepted for a sub for Santa.
