A few more Christmas offerings are hanging in the theater stocking this week; brought to you by universities.
"The Best Christmas Pageant Ever," Dec. 16-18, Caine Lyric Theatre, Logan.
Based on the popular book, the comedy tells the tale of a couple who is struggling to put together a traditional Christmas pageant when they are faced with including the town's most awful children.
The cast consists of 77 members, 62 of which are local children. Starring Derick Darley, Jayden Todd, Riley Olsen and Timothy Stewart.
Shows are nightly, 7:30 p.m. with a matinee available. Tickets are $3-$10 (www.arts.usu.edu).
"Holiday Night Live," Dec. 16-18, Noorda Theatre, Utah Valley University, Orem.
An original comedic show with creative sketches and songs that poke fun at different holidays, not just Christmas. Patterned lovingly after a well-known late night TV program.

"Farley Fmaily Xmas," Dec. 13-20, Ragan Theater, UVU, Orem.
The sequel to "The Farley Family Reunion," this tells the story of what happened to the Farley Family at Christmastime.
All the characters are played by James Arrington, department chair for theatrical arts.
