ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos have fired coach Josh McDaniels.
There was no immediate word on who will succeed McDaniels.
Team spokesman Patrick Smyth told The Associated Press: "We can confirm that coach Josh McDaniels has been relieved of his head coaching duties."
After going 6-0 to start his rookie season, McDaniels went 5-17 and was involved in a series of personnel mistakes. He was caught up in Spygate II a week and a half ago.
