Utah's #94 Christian Cox waits for the next drill during Utah Football Practice. Monday, Aug. 16, 2010.
Scott G. Winterton, Deseret News
SALT LAKE CITY — Following Saturday's 47-7 loss to TCU, Utah defensive end Christian Cox said: "My bishop is probably not going to be happy but we got our (butts) kicked."
Turns out, Cox's bishop was understanding.
"Everything's fine," Cox said with a laugh. "I didn't even know they put that on TV. But, yeah, everything's fine. I think he chuckled, actually."

Ted H: we wouldn't have to. We would find fault that he WAS a cougar.
It's good to see the fine young men within all the football teams in the state. The fact that he thought of his bishop before making the statement is impressive to me as a Y fan. Good on ya elder Cox.
What, why would anyone would say that? Hmmm, when was that when DN said something like that before General Conferance, which I think it was during Spencer W. Kimball time. I tell you, a lot of times I hear my ward talk about NCAA and NFL stuff really More..
