First Unitarian Church to look at Halloween

"Boo: A Fifty Year Retrospective" will be presented by the Rev. Tom Goldsmith at the Sunday, Oct. 31 services at the First Unitarian Church of Salt Lake, 569 S. 1300 East.

Services will be 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

There will also be "Jazz Vespers" presented at 7:30 p.m., on Oct. 31.

Catholic Women's League to meet

SALT LAKE CITY — The Catholic Women's League will meet Friday, Nov. 5, at 12:10 p.m. for First Friday Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 170 S. University.

A prayer for the rosary will follow Mass. The public is welcome.

Church Women to meet twice in November

Church Women United in Utah will meet twice in November, first in Salt Lake and then in Marriott-Slaterville.

They will gather in Friday, Nov. 5, 9:30 a.m., at Wasatch Presbyterian Church, 1626 S. 1700 East, Salt Lake City. Registration is $1 and lunch will cost $4.

They will also meet on Saturday, Nov. 6, 9:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 1339 W. 400 North, Marriott-Slaterville. Registration is $3.

St. Joseph Villa to hold fundraiser

St. Joseph Villa Catholic volunteers will hold their annual fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 6, 11:30 a.m. at St. Ann Social Hall, 430 E. 2100 South.

There will be a buffet, bake sale, boutique, entertainment and more.

St. James Parish to hold 'Festive Follies'

The 12th annual "Festive Follies" will be held at St. James Catholic Parish, 495 N. Harrison Blvd., Ogden on Nov. 5-6, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be 60 booths, a café, silent auction and local artists.
