'Deathly Hallows' tickets on sale now

Get ready, Harry Potter fans.

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1)" will debut at 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 18, 2010, at all five Megaplex Theatres locations, and tickets for that screening are on sale now at www.MegaplexTheatres.com

According to box office figures, Utah is home to the most enthusiastic Harry Potter fans in the nation. Several Megaplex Theatres locations were in the top five in the country in attendance when previous Harry Potter films were released.

"This year promises to be even bigger than before, since Megaplex Theatres is also partnering with Clark Planetarium for guests in downtown Salt Lake City to have access to the Harry Potter movie on the new ATK Digital IMAX screen at Gateway," Blake Andersen, senior vice president and general manager of Megaplex Theatres, said in a statement.

In addtion Megaplex Theatres is giving patrons the opportunity to register for a Harry Potter Sweepstakes for a trip to the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla. To enter the sweepstakes, enter online at www.MegaplexTheatres.com or complete an entry form at any one of the theatre locations.

Harry Potter fans are also invited to attend one of the several premiere parties in the hours leading up to the midnight movie premiere. VIP event tickets are available online for an additional fee.
