It is fairly obvious that the hope and change many voted for in the last presidential election has not come to fruition — or has it?
As Americans, we have always tended to focus on the president. Most of the poor decisions that brought about our current challenges are the work of Congress. Granted, both parties share in the blame. Unfortunately, the people in Congress spend most of their time casting aspersions rather than bringing about the reform that is needed. Inspired leadership can bring about this reform.
We need simple solutions implemented soon. To delay in this reformation is dangerous. In November, get out and vote for the candidate of your choice who can reduce the size, scope and cost of government at all levels.
The time for silly lifetime politicians is over! They need to lead, follow or get out of the way for the good of the people.
