HOLLADAY — SWAT team surrounded a Holladay apartment Monday afternoon on a call of a shot fired. But when they got inside they found the victim deceased.
Unified police had responded to the call at 1753 E. Hidden Meadows Drive (4915 South) just after 3 p.m. and were able to look inside the apartment using a robot. Upon entry, officers found the victim, a 26-year-old man, dead from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. No-one else was injured in the shooting.
Unified Police Lt. Don Hutson said family members reported the man had been acting suicidal over the past week.
