AMERICAN FORK — A Utah County man was found dead in Utah Lake by a duck hunter Wednesday.
Officials report the duck hunter noticed the body of the victim, believed to be in his 40s, floating about a half mile southeast of the American Fork Boat Harbor about 2 p.m.
The duck hunter returned to land and notified authorities. The body was removed from the lake and police have been attempting to contact immediate family members. The victim's name has not been released but police believe they have identified him from an ID card, Utah County Sheriff's Lt. Mike Brower said.
There's no immediate indication of foul play.
