SALT LAKE CITY — Thoma Bravo finished its acquisition of Utah-based LANDesk, an IT service management and security firm, on Wednesday.
Steve Daly, who formerly was executive vice president and general manager of LANDesk, now becomes its CEO and will operate the firm with its current management team.
"LANDesk customers, partners and employees can expect even more innovation through our key solutions — systems lifecycle management, endpoint security and IT service management."
Seth Boro, a principal at Thoma Bravo, was also pleased with the transaction.
"Thoma Bravo looks forward to working with LANDesk's management team to implement a strategic plan to accelerate revenue growth," Boro said. "Through continuous operational improvements and strategic acquisitions, LANDesk will reinforce its position as a market leader in IT systems management."
LANDesk, which has its headquarters in Salt Lake City, employs about 750 people worldwide and has thousands of customers.
