INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts have found some new names to use on an old plan.
And it's still a winning formula.
The Colts relied on undrafted rookie Jeff Linkenbach to protect Peyton Manning's blind side and undrafted rookie Blair White to be their No. 3 receiver Sunday, and they didn't miss a beat.
Peyton Manning still threw for 300 yards and three touchdowns as Indy won 27-13 in Denver. The defense was missing Bob Sanders and Clint Session, but still allowed only six points in five red-zone possessions.
How do the Colts do it?
With a simple philosophy that nobody is irreplaceable. It's the same reason Indy has won at least 12 games in a league record seven straight seasons.
