MURRAY — A seven-car accident left northbound traffic on I-15 backed up for miles near 7300 South Thursday night.
Few details were known about the crash but Utah Highway Patrol troopers reported five people, including two infants, suffered minor to serious injuries in the chain-reaction accident about 8:15 p.m.
The three outside lanes were closed while the remaining three lanes, including the HOV lane were accessible. Officials report all lanes have since been reopened.
