The feature script competition will return to the LDS Film Festival on Jan. 26-29, 2011, which is the festival's 10th anniversary.
The feature script competition allows scripts of 70 to 120 pages, and the three winning scripts will be presented to producers. This category was replaced four years ago by the seven-page script competition. The winners were produced on a budget of $500.
The other categories include the short file competition and the 24-hour filmmaking marathon. The festival will also have feature film, exhibition and special screenings. Prizes totaling $3,000 will be awarded to the best films and screenplays.
The entry deadline is Nov. 15. See ldsfilmfestival.org for information and rules.
