PROVO — Brigham Young University has been ranked fourth in the country for its entrepreneurship programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, according to a report by Entrepreneur Magazine and the Princeton Review.
The school was noted for its low tuition, double the number of mentorship programs of any other undergraduate school in the top ten and a high number of organizations and clubs on campus.
This latest ranking moves the school up 14 places from its previous rank of 18 and is the first time BYU's graduate program was recognized.
More than 2,000 programs throughout the country were surveyed and BYU was evaluated on such areas as teaching entrepreneurship business fundamentals in the classroom and providing experience opportunities outside the classroom. In addition, the report said the in-class experience for students was improved by observing faculty members who have been successful in their own entrepreneurial work.
