Before you direct your attention to the center ring, you may want to get a preview of the chatter and sounds of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus in the grandest tradition, "The Great Circus Parade."
On Wednesday, Sept. 22, at noon, 130 performers, Asian elephants, Bengal and Siberian tigers, horses, ponies and llamas will parade through the Gateway.
The best viewing will be from either side of Rio Grande Street, through Gateway.
The parade begins at 200 S. Rio Grande. The event is free to the public.
