TV schedule

DOLPHINS (1-0) AT VIKINGS (0-1)

11 a.m., Ch. 2

Brett Favre doesn't have many options to throw to, but maybe that's a blessing in disguise. If the Vikings constantly feed the ball to Adrian Peterson, they'll be fine.

Prediction: Vikings, 17-13

SEAHAWKS (1-0) AT BRONCOS (0-1)

2:05 p.m., Ch. 13

The Broncos are tough in this spot, as they've won 10 consecutive home openers. Can a team coached by Pete Carroll break that impressive streak? It's highly doubtful.

Prediction: Broncos, 21-13

PATRIOTS (1-0) AT JETS (0-1)

2:15 p.m., Ch. 2

The J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS! were B-A-D BAD BAD BAD! last week. But the Patriots should bring out the best in the Jets, who will blitz Brady and run right at New England's young defense.

Prediction: Jets, 19-16

GIANTS (1-0) AT COLTS (0-1)

6:20 p.m., Ch. 5

This will be the second time brothers Eli and Peyton Manning face each other as pros. Peyton won the first meeting. Younger bro Eli and the Giants will take Manning Bowl II.

Prediction: Giants, 27-24

SAINTS (1-0) AT 49ERS (0-1)

6:30 p.m., ESPN

Saints QB Drew Brees has never lost to the 49ers or on Monday Night Football. The Niners looked nowhere near ready for primetime last week. The champs will stay unbeaten.

Prediction: Saints, 34-24

NFL rankings

1. Saints: Champs finally back in action after long break on Monday night.

2. Packers: Looked solid in opener, but losing Ryan Grant for the season hurts.
