LEHI — Around 55 gallons of diesel oil spilled into a creek in Utah County Friday afternoon after a track hoe tipped over while being loaded onto a trailer, firefighters said.
Capt. Ricky Evans, with the Lehi Fire Department, said firefighters responded and so did a clean-up company. He said the oil was contained in Spring Creek in Lehi and will not contaminate Utah Lake.
