"Plaid Tidings," Sept. 24, 6-8 p.m., SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 S. State, Orem.
All roles are open, including the four men, as well as a young boy or girl to play The Littlest Angel and 12 Rockette-style female dancers.
Men 19 and older should prepare 16 measures of a Broadway-style song. An accompanist, boom box and iPod player will be available. Children will need to recite a one-minute (or less) poem or story.
Dance auditions are Sept. 25, 10 a.m.

"Miracle on Third and Main," Sept. 25, noon, Off-Broadway Theatre, 272 S. Main.
All roles open, including parts of children 8-14 years and adults 18 and older. Come prepared to sing your favorite Christmas song with a minus track and to read cold from the script. Bring a current headshot and resume.

"Christmas Carol," Sept. 23, children 5-7 p.m., adults 7:15-9 p.m.; and Sept. 24, adults, 7-9 p.m., Hale Center Theater Orem, 225 W. 400 North, Orem.
All roles, except Scrooge, are open. Looking for adults and children 9 years and older.
Children do not need to sing. Adults should prepare 16 bars of a classic musical theater song; an accompanist will be provided; bring sheet music. Actors should also be familiar with a proper British and/or cockney accent for a short cold read. "Singing only" roles are available.
