WOMEN'S GOLF: At Bozeman, Mont., Abbie Archibald recorded a final-round 80 Wednesday at the Bobcat Invitational to finish 21st with a two-day total of 156 to lead the Wolverines.
Stacey Parkinson, who entered the day three shots off the lead after an opening round 74, struggled and shot an 89 to finish tied for 25 with a two-day total of 163.
The University of Memphis, which had four golfers in the Top 5, won the tournament with a 579. The Tigers were followed by host Montana State (613), Fullerton (617), Portland (629), Idaho State (645) and UVU (647).
Stephanie Fox, who shot an 86 on the first day, bettered he score by six shots in carding an 80 to finish tied for 29th.
The Wolverines are back in action Sept. 20-21 at the NAU Mountain Shootout in Flagstaff, Ariz.
