SALT LAKE CITY — Weekend warriors hoping for a throwdown with Deron Williams, Kyle Korver and Ronnie Price in their annual charity dodgeball tournament only have a few days to register for a chance at that opportunity.

The deadline for the 2010 Dodge Barrage registration is Friday and a limited amount of spots are available for the 96-team event, which will take place on Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Salt Palace Convention Center.

Participation in the competition is $500 per team, which have 8-10 players, ages 18 and older. The entry fee includes a T-shirt for each participant.

Teams will be split into morning and afternoon pools, with three teams from each session qualifying for bracket play. The championship game is scheduled for 5 p.m.

Williams, Korver and Price will all be on the same team – dubbed "Deron's Dodgers" through a fan participation contest – and the Jazz All-Star point guard said the trio is aiming for the title.

"We will be in it to win it," Williams wrote on his facebook page Tuesday.

Williams also recently wrote that participants "are going to have the time of (their) life."

Spectators will be charged $10 per person and children under 12 will be admitted free of charge with a paying adult. Rules and registration information are on Williams' website at pointofhopefoundation.org.

Proceeds will benefit the three NBA players' charitable foundations.

JAZZ VOICES UNITE: The Jazz's two play-by-play broadcasters — Craig Bolerjack (TV) and David Locke (radio) — will team up with studio host Scott Garrard on 1320 KFAN's new drive-time show.

Bolerjack and Locke will alternate hosting the program alongside Garrard beginning on Monday, Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment senior vice president Chris Baum announced in a press release Tuesday.

The yet-to-be named program, which will replace the market's top-ranked "Locked on Sports" show, will air from 3-7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

KFAN also announced that Ben Bagley will join Alema Harrington on "Powerhouse" in the 1-3 p.m. slot.

"We're very excited to add Craig to the lineup at KFAN," Baum said. "He has an extensive radio background and connects well with Jazz fans."

BIG ARRIVAL: Judging by his Twitter account post from Sunday, Jazz rookie Gordon Hayward, Utah's No. 9 overall pick in this year's draft, is excited about moving to his new home: "Just got to Utah! Miss you Indy....but let's do it big Utah."
