In his Aug. 24 broadcast, Glenn Beck decreed that President Obama's religion is "not Christian. It's a perversion of the gospel of Jesus Christ." As a fellow Latter-day Saint, may I plead with Mr. Beck to listen hard to himself and remember how we LDS feel when others characterize our religion in exactly these terms? Is it possible that Glenn has not yet grasped the concept of irony?
