SALT LAKE CITY — Two people were arrested on Redwood Road on Aug. 20 following a traffic stop that yielded hidden heroin.
Both people eventually admitted to police where their recently purchased heroin was hiding, according to charging documents from 3rd District Court.
The man told police he had heroin concealed on his body, and the woman managed to regurgitate three balloons of heroin she had swallowed.
The woman was taken to a hospital for recovery of a fourth balloon, charges state.
The man was charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute, both felonies.
The woman was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a third-degree felony, and obstructing justice, a class A misdemeanor.
