LOS ANGELES (AP) — "Toy Story 3" is about to set another box office record for The Walt Disney Co.
The company says the third movie in the Pixar series will pass $1 billion in worldwide ticket sales today (Friday).
"Toy Story 3" reunites cowboy Woody, space ranger Buzz Lightyear and the toys' owner, Andy.
Counted with "Alice in Wonderland," it will be the second movie to pass the billion-dollar mark for Disney this year.
It also will make The Walt Disney Studios the only studio in history to have released two billion-dollar-plus movies in a single year.
"Toy Story 3" has become Disney's third-biggest movie ever and is the best-grossing animated film of all time.
