SOUTH SALT LAKE — A 36-year-old woman died after being shot numerous times Saturday night.
At 9:52 p.m., the woman, whose name was not released, was in the parking lot at an apartment complex at 1080 W. 3300 South, said South Salt Lake police detective Gary Keller.
"The information we have is she had walked out to meet someone or go to a party, and she was in the parking lot when this happened," Keller said.
The woman was taken to a local hospital in extremely critical condition and later died, he said.
