CINCINNATI — Chad Ochocinco sent a tweet to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to say he's sorry for his costly tweets.

The Cincinnati Bengals receiver was fined $25,000 on Tuesday for violating the NFL's restrictions on posting to social media sites before, during and after games.

Ochocinco tweeted after he warmed up before a 22-9 preseason win over Philadelphia on Friday night. He tweeted again after he was out of the game.

Ochocinco wouldn't discuss the tweet to Goodell with the media on Wednesday, but says he won't be breaking the tweet rules again.
