SALT LAKE CITY — Social media experts will share their knowledge about the trend Aug. 31 at a conference of the NorthFront Entrepreneur Alliance.
Steve Spencer, president and chief technology officer of TwelveHorses.com, and Zach Mangum, co-founder of GroSocial.com, will be the featured speakers.
The free event will take place at the Simmons Entrepreneurship Center at the Davis Applied Technology College, from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Registration via www.northfront.org is required.
TwelveHorses.com recently merged with One-to-One Labs and is a full-service relationship marketing and messaging company, specializing in designing interactive communication solutions. The company assists businesses in translating and transforming their brands online.
GroSocial offers products designed to help businesses establish a meaningful presence on leading social networking websites. During the NorthFront meeting, GroSocial will share case studies from its own client work to demonstrate the best social media practices.
"Social media is playing a critical role in every facet of business, and it's more important than ever for businesses to understand how to use it properly," said Brad Walters, co-chairman of the alliance. "This topic is timely, and I'm confident that by attending, business owners will walk away with a greater understanding of social media."
