SALT LAKE CITY — Deseret Management Company (DMC) gained a new addition to its leadership team today. Tanya Vea joined DMC as the vice president of program development.
Vea will work with the KSL Broadcast division and will oversee public relations for DMC, according to a company statement. Her role will include developing and implementing programming for multiple platforms, including KSL.com.
"To be successful in print, on air, or online, we must be increasingly interesting, compelling and creative in our content," Mark Willes, president and CEO of DMC, said in a company statement. "With Tanyas extensive background in television and public relations, she is a wonderful complement to the outstanding people already working in our various media companies. We are delighted she has caught the vision of what we do at DMC and is willing to help us achieve our goals."
Vea brings more than 15 years of experience in broadcast news media, advertising and strategic communications. She previously held roles at Salt Lake City-based advertising agency Kim Brown and Associates and at KUTV2, where she served as the news director.
