Could the Mountain West Conference and Conference USA stage a BCS bowl play-in game?
The commissioners of both leagues have discussed such a scenario, according to CBSSports.com.
MWC commissioner Craig Thompson and C-USA commissioner Britton Banowsky talked Thursday in the wake of the conference shifting involving two non-automatic qualifying conferences — the MWC and the WAC.
According to the report, "There are few specifics at this point but the idea is to make both conferences more relevant and perhaps coax BYU into staying in the Mountain West. The source stressed the preliminary nature of the talks."
Because contracts are already in place, the soonest such a play-in game for an automatic BCS bowl berth would be at the end of the 2014 season, according to the report.

Well, you get the idea.
Answer: No, there are more conferences than CUSA and MWC.
Why would the MWC do that? Conference USA has never even been to a BCS bowl. The MWC has proven they can get into a BCS bowl by themselves.
