Event to benefit victims of domestic violence

SALT LAKE CITY — The Legal Aid Society is holding its 2010 Celebration of Justice Over Domestic Violence at 6 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Grand America Hotel, 555 S. Main.

Proceeds from the black-tie event will help pay for services provided to victims of domestic violence.

The event features a live auction and music by Gene Sartain's Scherzando Winds. The live auction items will include fine dining, fresh produce, a caricature by Pat Bagley and an individually commissioned piece of art by noted local artist Aaron Bushnell.
