WEST VALLEY CITY — A free, 90-minute seminar about identity-theft prevention and awareness will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at West Valley City's Community Preservation Headquarters/Animal Shelter, 4522 W. 3500 South.
The AAA Fair Credit Foundation will present information as part of West Valley City's Neighborhood Nights: National Night Out 2010.
"There are little things that we all do in our daily lives that make us more susceptible to being a victim of identity theft," said West Valley City Police Chief Buzz Nielsen. "It is hoped that this seminar will help residents understand those little things and encourage them to make changes."
