SANDY — Javier Morales was named the MLS Player of the Week for his two-goal outing in Real Salt Lake's 2-0 win over Columbus last Saturday. This is Morales' second Player of the Week nod this season.
Morales not only scored in the 11th and 60th minutes against the Crew, but he dominated the midfield in a critical victory for RSL.
Morales and teammate Alvaro Saborio have each earned two Player of the Week honors this year.
With nine games remaining in the 2010 regular season, Morales has six goals and six assists for RSL.
