Naked woman arrested inside LDS church

WEST JORDAN — A woman found naked and committing a lewd act inside a LDS meetinghouse while others were in the building was arrested Sunday.

A 54-year-old woman was discovered naked inside the cultural hall of a church about 3:30 p.m., according to Salt Lake County Jail records.

Police said it was unknown how many people observed the woman, but they knew of at least one juvenile who saw her, jail records state.

The woman "was not willing to put her clothes on when asked," according to jail records.

The woman was booked into jail for investigation of lewdness involving a child, a class A misdemeanor.
