AMERICAN FORK — A woman was arrested Thursday after police say she committed a series of burglaries and thefts.
Alishia Miller, 34, of American Fork, was booked for investigation of six counts of forgery, two counts of burglary, unlawful possession of a financial transaction card and possession of stolen property.
Police served a warrant at Miller's house on July 14 and discovered $620 worth of items identified as missing in a garage burglary in American Fork, according to a police affidavit filed in 4th District Court.
Miller also obtained a stolen credit card in American Fork last month and used it six times to buy gas, food and other items, according to the affidavit. Miller admitted to detectives that she possessed and used the card before giving it to someone else, the affidavit states.
A witness also observed Miller robbing a trailer in American Fork in May, according to a third affidavit. Miller was arrested in Alpine last month in a separate investigation after police say they discovered 51 burglary tools, a diamond, drugs and more than 50 pieces of stolen mail in a truck she was driving with someone else.
