In my opinion, the people accused of leaking the list of illegal immigrants are really whistle-blowers. If government officials were in possession of a list of law breakers and were not doing anything about it, then it becomes the lawful duty of anybody having knowledge of this to "blow the whistle." Therefore they should be commended not reprimanded.
I don't understand why they are being prosecuted. I thought whistle-blowers were protected by law from being persecuted by their superiors that they blew the whistle on.
