Former BYU running back Harvey Unga injured his right hamstring and left the Chicago Bears' practice early on Sunday in Bourbonnais, Ill.
Unga, who was selected in the seventh round of the NFL supplemental draft in July, is battling for a spot in the Bears' backfield. Wide receiver Juaquin Iglesias also left practice after suffering a groin pull.
"Nothing serious," Chicago head coach Lovie Smith said about the two injuries. "These kind of things happen during training camp."
Unga, BYU's all-time leading rusher, was sidelined for the Cougars' season-opener against Oklahoma last year with a hamstring injury.
