UTAH COUNTY — Two people have been killed in a head-on collision on State Road 6 in Spanish Fork Canyon near the Thistle junction.
Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Ted Tingey said a car and a semi-trailer truck collided Saturday near milepost 187 at about 8:15 a.m.
Two people have been confirmed dead while two others have been transported to hospitals, Tingey said.
As of 11 a.m., one lane in each direction had been opened.
