KEARNS – Kearns will kick off its "Hometown Week" on 6 p.m. Saturday, July 31, with a softball tournament between the Unified Police Department and Unified Fire Authority on Gates Field at Kearns High School, 5525 S. Cougar Lane (4800 West). The cost is $2 per person or $7 per family for up to seven family members.
Kearns' Night Out Against Crime with free food and activities is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at the Utah Olympic Oval, 5662 S. (Cougar Lane) 4800 West.
A beach party with food, games, ice skating and music is at the Oval 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6. The cost is $2 or two cans of nonperishable food for the Kearns Food Bank.
