SALT LAKE CITY — Overstock.com Inc. announced Wednesday that it has leased 15,000 square feet in Tooele for a new customer service call center.
The building is owned by the Tooele County School District, which uses the remaining space for its district offices.
Approximately 200 new employees eventually will be hired for the Tooele call center, according to Overstock.com senior vice president of logistics Stephen Tryon.
The space is being configured to align with existing Overstock call center operations and is scheduled to open in October.
