VERNAL — A Uintah County woman is facing two felony charges after investigators say she sexually abused a 6-year-old boy.
Jeni Lyn Bullock, 29, was charged Tuesday in 8th District Court with aggravated sex abuse of a child and sodomy on a child, both first-degree felonies.
Uintah County sheriff's detective Leonard Issacson, in a probable cause statement, said the child disclosed an incident of sodomy and sex abuse during a March 10 interview. Issacson interviewed Bullock, who is related to the child, five days later.
"She waived her rights and talked with me about the case," the detective said. "She told me that there was contact with the minor child and that the contact with the child (was) for her sexual gratification."
Bullock was arrested July 13 and booked into the Uintah County Jail, but she was released after posting $50,000 bail. Her first court appearance has not yet been scheduled.
