SANTAQUIN, Utah County — Community activist Amy Jackson has been named the grand marshal for the Aug. 6 parade for the annual city celebration.
The parade runs the entire length of Main Street and starts at 9 a.m. on the east end. The weeklong Orchard Days festivities begin Saturday and run through Aug. 7.
Events include art and quilt shows, contests, a baby show, park activities and a car show. For more information, visit santaquin.org.
