KETCHUM, IDAHO — The Utah State Bar rolled out a new president and doled out annual awards Friday as part of its summer conference in Sun Valley, Idaho.
Utah Supreme Court Chief Justice Christine Durham swore in Robert Jeffs as the state bar's new president. Jeffs replaces Stephen W. Owens.
The bar honored Judge Pamela T. Greenwood, a 23-year veteran of the Utah Court of Appeals who is serving as the court's presiding judge, for distinguished judicial service. Third District Judge Robert K. Hilder took home judge of the year honors.
Husband-and-wife duo Randy and Kathy Dryer received awards for attorney of the year and special service, respectively.
