Brian Tobler must have researched many avenues of info to justify his position on Utah being selected to the Pac-10 conference ("Utah's move to Pac-10 questionable," My View, July 13). I believe that Brian should realize that the U. has been one of the top ranked Universities in the country for its various academic schools (business, engineering, geology, arts, medical school and school of nursing), as well as its athletic programs. The U. has had two of its football coaches selected as coach of the year by the NCAA within the past five years. I think the U. would be a big asset to the Pac-10 and will be a significant factor in sports, as well as academic achievements.
