Whitaker Construction Co. awarded bid for Barton Creek flood-control project in Davis County
FARMINGTON — Whitaker Construction Co. of Brigham City was awarded a $2.8 million contract for a flood-control project at Barton Creek in Bountiful and West Bountiful.
The Davis County Commission selected the company Tuesday from among six bidders.
Funding will come from $27 million in flood-control bonds issued last year. The project is designed to improve east-to-west water runoff.
