This summer, go exploring with Kennecott Utah Copper.
Kennecott Utah Copper's Bingham Canyon Mine, the largest man-made excavation in the world and second largest copper mine producer in the United States, will be offering free admission July 16-25 for passenger vehicles and minivans.
Located at 8400 West (Highway 111) and 12300 South, the Bingham Canyon Mine Visitors Center overlooks the historic excavation site and features hands-on displays detailing the process of how Kennecott produces copper, gold, silver and molybdenum — which are essential to creating the products used in everyday life.
For more information and a map of the mine, visit www.kennecott.com.
