SOUTH JORDAN — The city of South Jordan has been named the 18th best place to live in America, according to "Money Magazine's 2010 Best Places to Live" rankings.
The top 100 rankings were released online Monday, with the annual list to be published in the August edition of Money Magazine.
"We've always believed South Jordan is a world-class city, and we are glad to share it with those near and far," said South Jordan Mayor W. Kent Money.
South Jordan was lauded for its low crime rates and strong schools, as well as its Country Fest celebration.
Other Utah cities making the Money Magazine list were Orem, 45th; West Jordan, 61st; and St. George, 80th.
